“Of all the actual play D&D podcasts I have listened to over the years, this is the only one that I feel like is out to make money...not a profit, mind you, but money. The constant hitting listeners up for money so that they can pay editors and the actors that it really takes any enjoyment out of the show. There are so many other examples of other podcasts (like the Glass Cannon Podcast, Not another D&D Podcast) that either monitized more slowly or not as obviously that it’s kind of jarring to see in comparison. While the quality of the show is good, though rather short than standard length, it just seems like James D’Amato has built this interesting fantasy world only to put up gates around it.
Free to explore, only after you pay admission.”
