Excellent, keep it unique
This show is very much what Canada needs in its news environment. Jesse’s sharp, frank, opinionated yet collaborative hosting is a big draw. I still love this show, but truthfully it seems like since around mid-fall 2022 it’s lost a bit of the unique direction and perspective that made it so worthwhile and valuable to listen to. Since then, I’ve noticed a marked trend towards simply reporting on the headlines of the week, just as every other big news podcast in Canada already does, and typically those episodes are released before Canadaland’s generic take on the news episodes now. I love this show and hope it can keep hold of the unique perspective of reporting on under-acknowledged aspects of the news that originally gave this show it’s enormous value add. Thanks, and hope you keep up the good work!

I love the lens of reviewing the media to talk about real issues. Smart and thoughtful.
