“The trailer for “Canadian Politics is Murder” (Colin Thatcher) is incredibly misleading. First of all, the trailer makes it sound like it’s a whole separate podcast. It’s not. It’s this one. And the trailer sounds very polished and professional and serious. It’s not. It’s the same disrespectful, insensitive trash as the regular feed, but worse, because they’re discussing the murder of an innocent woman and making ridiculous jokes about the whole situation.
I came to this podcast because I heard the trailer for “Canadian Politics is Murder” thinking it was something that it absolutely was not. When I started listening, I was waiting for the actual subject matter, but it was just these two guys being nonsensical and seemingly never getting to the point. They act like 15 year olds. And no, they are not “cultural icons”. They’re immature, and they are insensitive and disrespectful to victims & their loved ones, and disrespectful of the justice system, and an absolute embarrassment.”
