If I were going to be banished to a remote island I would kidnap them both so they could entertain me while I’m on the island -Logan

Such an entertaining podcast. Rhys and Jessie are the best. I hope you’ll come get hammered with me at porter’s lake when I’m out there next summer🥰

Starts with useless ramblings about personal things of no interest to anyone other than the hosts. Trim down all the useless ramblings and might have a good podcast

I regret wasting 30 minutes on this pod.

Too much rambling. It’s not entertaining, it’s just filler.

The trailer for “Canadian Politics is Murder” (Colin Thatcher) is incredibly misleading. First of all, the trailer makes it sound like it’s a whole separate podcast. It’s not. It’s this one. And the trailer sounds very polished and professional and serious. It’s not. It’s the same disrespectful,...Read full review »

Just tried Colin thatcher ep. 1. I would like to get into this podcast, but have a few misgivings. There was too much rambling about nonsense, and not enough of the actual topic. The Canadian guy swears too much, and has a snorty laugh which is a bit icky….sorry, can’t listen to that.

It’s hard to find a funny podcast and I’m happy I stumbled upon this one. My mother followed American politics because she always told me, “Canadian politics is boring.” I’ve found out she was wrong about that, it’s really quite interesting, especially when these two guys discuss it. Thanks for...Read full review »

I know Canadians don’t like talking about our feelings, but I really enjoyed the episode about how to talk to Canadians. It was extremely funny.

I thought I’d try this podcast out but was disappointed to have to fast forward through (quite literally) 9.5 minutes - or nearly a third of an episode - before they actually started talking about the subject of the episode. Deleted. Moved on.

Why didn't you begin sooner, you dummy! They have terrific chemistry and are highly entertaining. They entice you to join them in their chats, which are usually entertaining.Read full review »

Keep up the good work, Jesse and Rhys. Maybe, in the future, this production can be smoothed out to make a good item even better.
Armando Treute via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/21/23
Yeah, Rhys and Jesse are left-wing types, but they are quite balanced, especially when it comes to gun restrictions.

I desperately need this to get out of this strange country we live in. I appreciate their desire to perform this work every week, despite the fact that not every outcome is positive.

They babble over each other, go off on tangents, and occasionally make sense. Excellent work.

I started listening in august of 2022 and I’ve completely caught up by September my mother thinks it’s crazy that I listen to this stuff and sometimes we listen to it together. And yes, I am twelve years old I kinda hope in the youngest listener.

So shout out to my good friend Matt for introducing me to this show, I started Ep 1 in late September 2022 and now here in mid November 2022, I’ve just caught up to the latest episode. Canadian Politics is… Entertaining! To make Canadian politics and history interesting can’t be an easy feat, but these guys even manage to make it funny! Hosted by a grown up Stewie Griffin and an equally funny, if confused Canadian, This podcast has me in tears. I’m hooked!

Love the humour, it’s my type of comedy. The two guys seems to enjoy doing this podcast. I’ve listened to this podcast from day one (because I was aware of some of Rhy’s past exploits). I knew virtually nothing about Canadian politics and history prior to this show. Sticking Jesse and Rhys in my ear holes is exactly how I like it. The humour is so dry and witty that nothing more perfect exists. Between the Kenney FanFic Erotica, Rhys’ dark bedtime stories, the STD zone and Jesse’s rants, I know I would otherwise lead a dull life. The facts are just a bonus...Read full review »

The lead British lad who clearly does all the research is great, would do quite well if he dropped the deadbeat co-host. Fell bad he has to put up with that every episode.

Was excited when I came across this podcast. Then, had to wait while they chatted about their own concerns, issues, anecdotes, and giggles. Are people so bored that they need to listen to other people’s stories? Wish they would get on to the content that they advertise.

I was hoping after being associated with the Rest is History pod that there was a similar irreverent Canadian centric podcast. Disappointed it is just a partisan political podcast with stereotypically cringey personalities.
