They review movies full time and are sent screeners, yet complain a lot about not having enough time to see recent releases (especially William). Whitney with an e is pretty funny though. 5 stars.

The two hosts of this podcast, Whitney and Bibbs, are without a doubt the most influential movie critics working today. The shear volume of films and shows that the critique is staggering. Their humor and insight is valuable. Their opinions are thought provoking. This isn’t just me saying this...Read full review »

I have been a loyal listener to Critically Acclaimed for a few years now. I started as a casual movie fan and listened occasionally, but through the reviews from William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold I became enthralled with films I otherwise would have never watched. I adore Witney and Bibbs. They are excellent film critics who are also incredibly charming and fun to listen to. I could even listen to them talk about soap (which they have).

I enjoy this podcast because these 2 are so knowledgeable about the minutiae of film craft. However I’m often annoyed by how often they dismiss films of the big budget variety simply because they are major media IP i.e. marvel, Star Wars etc. When they are good it’s a great listen but too often...Read full review »

A great critic is not one that you always agree with, a great critic is one that will constantly challenge the way you see a piece of art. I can’t say that I always agree with the hosts, but that’s what brings so much value to this podcast. William “Bibbs” Bibbiani, and Whitney “Rockmeister...Read full review »

While I do enjoy them and their banter and insight, I find them to be FAR to preachy about social issues and I find that does seem to taint their perception of certain things they discuss. If they could dial that back I’d listen to them more.
