The personal cost of political theatre had become all too high for the longest-serving first minister in Scotland’s history. Amidst the furore that descended upon the party, one forerunner in particular made waves: the Cabinet Secretary for Finance and the Economy, and the Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) for Skye, Lochaber and Badenoch, Kate Forbes.
