Great, BUT...
This is a really good podcast, but the questions are the softest of softballs. I understand the purpose of the podcast is to allow the candidates to share their stories, but the hosts of the show allow the candidates to set their own agenda for each episode. I wish there were a few more pressing questions on some key parts of the candidates' legacies. David Axelrod does a better job with his podcast, where he doesn't let political/media leaders gloss over important aspects of their tenure. Despite this criticism, the platform this podcast provides is really good and a nice, at-home feeling that makes candidates relatable in a way fast-paced, corporate journalism simply does not strive to accomplish.Read full review »
