The best new political podcast since Slate got into the game
Jason Cherkis is an ace journalist who's been producing hard-hitting impact exposes for over 20 years, starting with a big splash in the VIllage Voice in '97 about the displacement of low-income Atlanta residents to make way for the '96 Olympics. His career has been a compelling journey from strength to strength as he has consistently shown the human toll of political power games and given voice to the unseen victims of governmental failure. His entree into the world of podcasting is welcome and has fully lived up to its promise. Cherkis and the equally erudite Sam Stein have been telling important and unique stories of the political battlefield in a series that has instantly become a weekly must-listen.
