“Here is a list of a few things that I think are holding your podcast back:
1. Your intro sequence is bad and downright creepy. Go listen to the brilliant theme to More Perfect or even the serviceable NPR Politics podcast theme, and be ashamed. Paying someone to write a good theme song would go a long way toward improving the feel of the podcast.
2. Don't be mean and snarky to politicians who come on your podcast. It just makes people dislike you.
3. The editing and production of your podcast is bad. Don't throw commercials in the middle of conversations. There are other production quality issues that I can't think of off the top of my head.
