“The Corvair episode was injected into the feed for another Pushkin show. The episode was so bad that I am taking a moment to search for the show and review it. The supposition is that car safety makes people drive worse. True, there is a well known principle that sometimes making things feel safer makes people act more reckless, but it does not always pan out that simply. Instead of putting together an interesting and informative show exploring whether or not car accidents per vehicle mile driven show whether or not car safety has made people more reckless, the host just bemoaned that you cannot buy unsafe cars like you used to and that the ABSOLUTE NUMBER of car accidents remains similar to when the Corvair was around. I expect much better than this from Pushkin.”
