#96 - "HOW DO I FIND A BETTER WORK LIFE BALANCE?" | LIVE CAREER COACHING SESSION WITH KARA
Listen now
Description
We’re continuing our foray into the live coaching calls this week with an episode featuring a woman named ‘Kara.’ Kara is in project management, coming from an environmental science background. She’s intimidated by the idea of learning programming languages and coding skills, but loves the coordination, management, problem-solving, and communications aspect of her current job. Nonetheless, she’s worried she’ll be “stuck in the same unfulfilling role forever. In this episode, Martin takes ‘Kara’ through a full-on coaching call, helping her identify the parts of her life she wants to improve, the specific role she wants to pursue, and the companies she’s interested in working for. The call deals a lot with finding a good work/life balance, transferring skills from more physical hands-on roles to white-collar desk jobs, and creating a financial runway to reorient one’s career. If you’ve ever wondered what a live coaching call is like, this is the episode for you!
