“This is a well made podcast with a great narrator.
It’s not an easy listen because the crime is absolutely horrific. So much so, that I found it hard to believe... NOT that I doubt that it happened exactly as described, but that it was truly mind-bogglingly awful.
Phyllis is a truly remarkable person, whose strength, resilience, determination and titular RAGE enabled her to surpass ‘normal’ expectations in her fight for justice. I don’t think I could bear to listen to it again but I’m glad I listened to it once because it’s a story that deserves to be heard.
I’m surprised to be the first person to rate and review this podcast. I’m in the UK and I get the impression that I mainly see other UK reviews, so I can only hope that it was more widely heard and appreciated in the US. but deserves to be heard as widely as possible.
Finally, I just want to say that this podcast made me think of one called ’Dead in the Water’ which featured a woman in an epic fight for her life against a murderous husband. Different scenarios but two heroic women... Listen to their stories!”
