Martin Olson is not only an animation writer. But he is also a comedy writer (live and TV comedy specials) and Science Fiction writer. As well as a book writer and a voice over actor. In the first part of this conversation, Martin explains how he started in the comedy world in Boston. And the many talented people he met on his way to Hollywood. Eventually ending up working as a writer on “Rocko’s Modern life” for Nickelodeon.

Peter Hannan explains us how he ended up creating one of Nickelodeon’s most famous show, “CatDog”, in the 1990’s. He also tells us about his work ask an illustrator, and what he has been doing since CatDog.

In the second part of our conversation, Jennifer explains the elaborate production process used at the Feature Animation department of the Disney Studios. Meeting Roy Disney, and doing voice over work for “Phineas & Ferb”.

In the second part of our conversation, Jay talks more about his experience as a writer/storyboard artist on “Spongebob Squarepants” for Nickelodeon. Ad well as being a director on “Phineas and Ferb” for Disney. And co-writing and directing the live action feature film “They’re watching”. Jay also talks about the more political side of the animation business, including the relationship between unions and the entertainment companies we are all working for....
