No longer my number 1 Crime Podcast
With the original anonymous host, this was the best crime podcast — 5 stars, hands down. Well researched with humane storytelling. Liked the pace & the absence of the OTT singy, songy voices & intrusive music of so many lesser shows. The production values became finessed after the first few cases. Many familiar cases but Casefile delved wider & deeper. The multi-part EAR/ONS case (aka The Golden State Killer) was the most comprehensive until it was solved. I was really looking forward to hearing the Casefile episode after GSK was captured but could not listen to it with the new narrator’s voice (so weird, slow and droopy) — absolutely loved the original Casey. Now it’s subscription only too and it doesn’t feel like a loss. Perhaps the original Casey sold it to get back to his day job :((

Easily my favourite podcast out there. So clear, well laid out and interesting. My only problem is that they aren't longer and there aren't more of them. Thankyou. Keep up the good work :)Read full review »

It's fine for noise,...Read full review »
