Too theatrical and judgmental
The phenomena covered are interesting, but told too dramatically for my taste, and at the end of the episodes the host passes moral judgement on the people who have been fooled by hoaxes, like “this person must have felt like an idiot”. A podcast in a similar vein but with a much more inclusive and reflective approach is “You’re Wrong About”. I highly recommend!

Great idea. Good subject matter. Completely ruined by absurdly acted voice overs, which are reminiscent of a Monty python sketch
