Aaaaaaaalllllllllllllrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiigggghhhhhhttttt
Alright.... people... ladies and gentlemen of the earth, wherever you are, whatever you’re doing, welcome back, welcome to this Celluloid Heroes review. - Have you ever almost ruined a cherished friendship due to difference in opinion of the trustworthiness of Terrence Malick as a filmmaker? Have you ever wasted a good chunk of your day debating the proper place of Hail, Caesar in the Coen brothers’ career? Have you ever marveled at the gracefulness of Tom Cruise’s famous run and clap? If so, then Celluloid Heroes just might be for you. More importantly though, if you want more insight into the often chaotic and confusing world of modern cinema, then this podcast is required listening and I can’t recommend it enough. Even if you live in Saudi Arabia and the only films at your immediate disposal are The Emoji Movie and Captain Underpants, I’d still recommend it for purely comedic purposes. Listening to Sean and Steven bicker over the most seemingly insignificant things is often the highlight of my day, and it pains me to know that they aren’t reaching the audience they should be. So since I took the time out of my day to write this review when I could be watching Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again for the 7th time, you better get it together and follow them. Just take one minute to listen to Sean’s incredible intros and you’ll be hooked, I promise. As Sean and Steven would say, this podcast is “All-time.”
