WOW - just adored this podcast, recommended if you like to hear the odd side of science. Brian Cox is a dream to listen too, infectious. BUT WHY NOT MORE - where are the new ones? Come on Brian, we are getting close to switching the machine back on, tell us of teh excitement - please!

Just kidding. An excellent podcast, Brian Cox is fantastic.. I hope the when the LHC is back on line,so is the podcast . If the LHC doesn't work again and has to be decomissioned,at least this podcast is some compensation for the expense.

Brian Cox makes science fun and understandable, its inspiring stuff, these podcasts are worth their weight in Higgs particles, and I cant wait for some more. Thanks Brian and all at CERN.

this interview sounds like the why bother tapes. Second, what was chris morris doing at CERN? Third, I wonder if he's checked this place out yet, http://www-sk.icrr.u-tokyo.ac.jp/sk/gallery/index-e.html

This is a very insightful tour of the cutting edge of physics. Brian Cox has a great way of explaining the esoteric in a way that the lay person can understand. Lets hope they get that machine back up and running for 2009. Vote Obama!!Read full review »

Great podcast, even for those without much knowledge of particle physics... There are some incredibly intelligent people out there, doing some fantastic work. Just one complaint, I wish they'd do some more episodes! :-)

Excellent informal, intelligent explanations and discussions of the LHC. Listening to these, you come to an appreciation of why this is a big deal. It is amazing and awe-inspiring that the human race can do this and wants to do this.

I love science, and when I started listening to podcasts I have sought out ones with either a science or science fiction bent. This and some of the popular science and canadian one's are just great. Please keep this one coming, as I'm anxiously awaiting news of the fist collision.

Oh, this is so wonderful! I am a theater director who wishes that I had gone into particle physics -- really, I'm not kidding. And I have been following the development of the large hadron collider with great interest. This is fun, easy to understand for a layperson, and it allows you inside the...Read full review »
