Every day I receive questions about what it looks like to center yourself. I also receive complaints about how hard it is or how much women struggle to make decisions for themselves. So, I thought it would be a great idea to interview women from all backgrounds to show you that centering yourself is not as complex as it seems. In this episode, we interview Shelby Ivey Christie, an American fashion and costume historian.

This episode is a little unorthodox. I’ve done a great job on Twitter and Instagram letting folks know that I am human. I like this because I don’t want to be placed on a pedestal. I just want to give you all the tools I learned on the way so that you can bypass a lot of heartbreak or b******t.  So, I want to keep that same understanding on here and let you all in on what is going on with me…

In today's episode, we discuss the single-girl holiday blues. Lately, there’s been an overall gloom single people bring to the holidays. Instead, you can have a different attitude about the holidays and lighten the mood for yourself.

Welcome to this week’s episode of Charlie’s toolbox. Today’s topic is safety. Physical and emotional safety. This is an interesting topic because I’ve seeing tips typically used by experienced sex workers passed off as dating advice. I worry about this because sex workers are not naïve about men, but you all are, and your naivety is something that can be preyed upon, exploited, and used as an opening for violence. So, you need to be clear about what safety is and what it is not.

They are signals that tell you what you enjoy, what’s pleasant, what you dislike, and what you don’t want around you. All of those things are what you choose friends from, community from, or hobbies from.  So, what do you think happens when you ignore them?
