Great Show
These guys are good friend and you can tell my the on air chemistry that they have together. There is a lot of joking and a lot of laughing but that is what makes the show interesting. They do have a “problem” staying on topic, but the rabbit trails are often really funny. Earlier episode are notorious for “chasing the topic” but more recent episode they have been better. They do provide some really helpful insights and opinions on guitar gear and other guitar related topics. What I think is extremely telling, is that while these guys represent Wampler Pedals, the podcast is NOT one big commercial for their gear. They talk about their stuff, but give lots of credit to other makers as well. "Hashbrown awesome"Read full review »

More reviews of Chasing Tone
About 5 minutes of actual content about gear or music. Most of it is really unfunny rambling and personal stories. They make fun of talking about anything remotely technical as if no one wants to hear about it, but it would be better than hearing them cackle about stupid inside jokes.
