Very easy to listen to
Short version: Recommended - Desert Island Discs but for computer games. My big passion growing up was computer games. I look back on these times with a huge amount of affection and associate a lot of very important memories with games. There are plently of great sites out there that have authors list games they love but Checkpoints provides a platform for its guests to discuss what games are important to them, have been there for them, or even shaped them and their careers. This creates a wide ranging discussion of many types of games and it's always a real treat when someone discusses a game that means something to you (and even better they make a point that you agree with). Declan the host does a great job of moving discussions along without over powering his guests. I highly recommend it.

Declan Dineen and the game developers he interviews are really able to put some real human emotion to the games industry.

Great show, great host, great guests. Particularly enjoyed the shows with guests of a similar age to me as the nostalgia of remembering once loved video games that you'd somehow forgotten is charming.
