Great show, great host, great guests. Particularly enjoyed the shows with guests of a similar age to me as the nostalgia of remembering once loved video games that you'd somehow forgotten is charming.

These are fascinating, in-depth conversations with people in the games industries. The stories they tell are ones I haven't heard or read anywhere else. Worth a listen.

A good idea, covering a different person's "life in games" on a weekly basis. A good host who sets his interviewees at ease with an informal approach, amusing and with entertaining guests. Recommended.

Been enjoying the podcast since the early episodes, great guests and well presented by Declan - my biggest issue is keeping up with the weekly releases!

I started in the middle somewhere, and since then I have listened to every podcast and have since been inspired to dive into indie game dev myself. Listen and enjoy!

I love the chats, there's always something that crops up that I didn't know before, and for a long time gamer like me, a lot of what is talked about really jogs my memory back to plesant gaming memories I'd almost forgotten. The guests Dec has on his show really know what they're talking about...Read full review »

I look back on these times with a huge amount of affection and associate a lot of very important memories with games. There are plently of great sites out there that have...Read full review »

Anyone interested in media and entertainment will love this show. As a non-gamer, I'm fascinated by on the creative process and theories behind the development of games, many of which have drawn upon and interpret their cultural context. Openly presented, it's a great way to dip in and out of the...Read full review »

One of my (now weekly) essential listens - it's such a simple set up, but the host (Delcan Dineen) always manages to keep things interesting. Highly recommended.

I started with episode 34 and have gone back and started at ep. 1, and am now on 20. I'll be sad/happy when this gets bigger.

Excellent podcast, the interview format makes it different to the vast majority of other gaming podcasts out there, and the guests are always interesting and of highly varied backgrounds. Being from the ZX Spectrum generation, I particularly enjoyed the Mel Croucher episode. Keep up the good work...Read full review »

Even if you’re not particularly into games, this is an awesome podcast because you get to dig into people’s pasts and hear about events that influenced them. Episode 7 in particular is highly entertaining because of Kirsten’s memories of a TV trial. Of course, if you are into games, you’ll love...Read full review »

This show takes you an enjoyable trip down memory lane and behind the scenes of a one of the biggest entertainment industries. I'm not a big gamer, but videogames are merely the basis for good stories, often about halcyon days of youth, university and formative years. Highly recommended.
