A perfect Accompaniment
If you love video games then you’ll probably have at least one favourite video game podcast you listen to every week. So why do you need another? Because this video game podcast is not like any video game podcast currently available. Checkpoints eschews the standard video game podcast tropes such as news and reviews and instead gives over all its time to a single guest with a history steeped in gaming and an entertaining story to tell. Declan Dineen is an extremely engaging host, and his first guest, Leo Tan, is an equally entertaining interviewee. The tales of trying to nail the Monkey Ball .5 line are worth listening alone. This is an extremely promising start for what I hope will prove to be a must listen for all who love all aspects of gaming culture and its history. Tell your friends!

Really interesting to hear insider views and history on games that you don't find in the usual gaming press. Some great guests, too!

As a game developer myself this is a great show and very inspiring. Declan is a thoughtful and wonderful host who asks great questions.
