Any updates? No reports/podcasts for a year… What’s happening?

I thought you were going to continue reporting after the Murdaugh trial. You’re leaving us having.

I’ve only listened to the episode “Last to Know,” but I am SHOCKED that “Mary” didn’t know about SafeSport, thought she had to pay for SafeSport, and that SafeSport policies were not enforced at Premier, i.e. proper channels were contacted immediately after a report of abuse. It’s something our...Read full review »

My heart goes out to the children (survivors) & parents. Why & HOW can other adults cover up the abuse of merciless perpetrators?? I commend the efforts by all involved in exposing yet another sickening story. Keep being strong 💪!

I think it’s good to shine a light and help victims feel safe to come forward but as some stories are being told some of us know specific and intimate details that would change some things and I don’t think this needs to be presented in the way it has been. It’s beginning to look like a...Read full review »

It’s essential to criminalize the enablers. If these people can’t see the wrong of these cultures and behaviors they need to know there are consequences for turning a blind eye.

Keep shining the light! These people cannot continue to abuse our children. Kudos to Fitsnews and to the Strom Law Firm for your courage, commitment and willingness to fight for the vulnerable and defenseless and to not run from the monsters.

It’s been 10+ years since myself & my child have been involved in Allstar competitive cheerleading. As members of an elite gym, I totally agree with the financial motivations of gyms and in particular, the elite gyms and those teams that compete at the highest levels. It breaks my heart to...Read full review »

I really wanted to like this podcast, because there’s a big - and important - story to tell. But it’s not a podcast. It’s just long, one-person per episode, unedited commentary about what happened in the past, along with exhortations about why it’s important to listen. It’s not. Where’s the...Read full review »

The problem with this podcast is it fails to tell the personal, specific stories of the children who were groomed and abused. It just makes general statements about the rot of the organization. I have no doubt that’s true, but I want to hear about what happened

All we are hearing about is lawsuits being filed?? Why are the police not investigating this?

Great investigative journalism to being telling this story that will probably end up being bigger than the gymnastic sexual abuse scandal. It’s unbelievable. How does this keep happening?! How do we protect some of our most vulnerable, our children? Where do these depraved monsters come from?...Read full review »

As parents we place trust in our teachers, coaches, spiritual advisers, etc. As parents we need to teach our young men and women what is appropriate and not appropriate behaviors. Discuss drugs, alcohol, sex, and keep all lines of communication open. We may not agree with what they have done but...Read full review »

A tough story for any news outlet to cover, but FITS does it with sincerity and heart. The hosts are easy to listen to and ensure the story doesn’t become about them.

It's difficult to listen to but it happens in every walk of life. Men want their own sexual gratification and hope they don't get caught. These young people, boys and girls, become a "perk" to powerful men. Their welfare was subordinate to profit.Read full review »

Seriously, thank you for doing this. I have suffered first hand from some of these coaches named and I’ve tried so hard to make it come to light. I really really appreciate you laying it out. Really great story telling so far!

Oh my goodness this is a horrifying story. You do such a good job of explaining how the world of cheer works generally without using lingo that only cheer people would know. You handle such a difficult subject so gently and with empathy. I imagine finding out that the organizations you have...Read full review »

My daughter was in Allstar cheer from age 5-18. She loved it. My prospective as a parent. It taught teamwork, made amazing athletes and kept the kids busy in an organized sport. That being said, it’s not church camp. If you’ve been to an all-star competition and your parental radar doesn’t go...Read full review »

I’m certainly going to follow this story via these reporters. The podcast needs a little polishing to be five stars; the audio is a little grainy and the content could be edited more judiciously. For example, the reporters highlighted the steps they took to help the victims and survivors and...Read full review »

Cheer Mom here- THANK YOU for this. Allstar cheer is my daughter’s happy place. I’m thankful for our small gym bubble. I can NOT imagine what these families are going through. I love the reporting that is being done to bring down the evil that is lurking in the cheerleading industry. People need to be held accountable, including the parents who offered their children to these monsters. Keep up the good work.
