Good content and format, but tones matter.
I think the format for this podcast is great and they keep their conversations pretty relevant and interesting. However, the husband’s pronunciation can be abysmal. He ignores tones most of the time and it isn’t properly corrected, which is a shame since folks listen to this podcast to improve their own Chinese and probably could use similar correction at times themselves. I think it’s a missed teaching/learning opportunity.

I am beginner but can pick up Karen’s Chinese dialogue - great for listening comprehension. One of best , if not the best, free Chinese language learning podcasts I’ve found- really enjoying listening and learning while doing weekend chores 非常谢谢你!
