“These in my opinion are the best, out of all podcasts for Mandarin out there, for 3 reasons:
1. Karen has the best English accent I ever heard from a native Chinese girl. So, it is much easier to understand her - I am not American (but I an immigrant living in Canada).
2. The second guy is American and his mandarin is quite good. He is not trying to compare Chinese to English, as many foreign podcasters do… He explains how it is said and done in Mandarin (full stop).
3. Topics are well explained with humor and very positive attitude.
What is missing though is separation of basic and intermediate levels, as they are all mixed up randomly, so it is difficult to choose for example lower-intermediate only.
