I can't say enough positive about the authenticity and impact of both the interview and introspection episodes - the host is a good interviewer whose empathy for his guests is clear but doesn't stop him from asking the painful (and profound) questions, and is an equally good essayist on his own. My one criticism is on the technical end - the volume level of the episodes varies widely, and sometimes wildly, which adds a distracting challenge when listening in the car, especially near the intro and outro music.
