Way too camp
The podcast lacks depth and is (especially when Asa Bennett presents) way too camp. I think the problem with Telegraph journos is that mommy and daddy's inheritance is so big they've no real reason to worry about politics that much so it's all a bit of a jolly really. The latest episode featured a Telegraph journalist suggesting Rory Stewart would be his pick for Tory leader because, and I paraphrase, "he speaks other languages which is, like, quite good so, like, yeah”. Really? Why on earth would anyone waste time listening to this? Serious political times call for serious political podcasts and this ain't it. And half-an-hour a week is pitiful from a major national newspaper. It seems like The Telegraph is investing the same amount of effort into this podcast as it does in proofreading its stories, i.e. not much.Read full review »

Good to see a British paper ducking the trend of talking down Britain and Brexit.
