The O.G. of film music podcasts
Simply put, this podcast is the best longform film music program out there. If you want to stay on top of the best scores and even be introduced to something new, Cinematic Sound Radio is the way to go. Dear Erik, I like this new format (“Ad Lib”). It is much less formal, and feels like you are talking to me directly. It is spontaneous, conversational, and engaging. And great choice of cues. I suggest this title: “Off the Cue” (like “Off the Cuff” which means without preparation) Good job....Read full review »

I really enjoy the show and look forward to listening to it every week. I appreciate hearing the passion that goes into introducing the various suites w/o being afraid to critique the music. You may even discover a film score that you wouldn't have otherwise. A great listen!Read full review »

I just finished listening to Waterworld (also a favorite) and wow, what great depth and insight on the music, the movie and the composer. Will definitely be listening to more.
