“Scott Spinelli put it best when he said, “leave it to you to find the three most salacious lines in a 350 page book.” It happens far too often in Adnan’s review of movies and when talking to authors that the filthier parts get the most shine. I wish it came across as funny, but honestly, when it happens it’s creepy…it gives me Marv Albert back-biter vibes. And listen, we get it…Adnan loves Scorsese. If you’re a fan, great…you’ll enjoy the podcast. But it really feels like he brings him up every episode. With Killers of the Flower Moon on the horizon, it will literally be a topic every week until the premier and then through award season. Simply unbearable. I was a fan from way back and I wish I could say I enjoy this pod, but I simply don’t anymore. 🍁”
