Started out great, but...
In these times of such divisiveness I was hoping for a learning opportunity that was totally unbiased. I failed to have any interest in civics when I was in school. This wasn't the fault of my teachers or my school system; rather, it was my fault for not paying proper attention - or respect, for that matter. I heard you on the Grammar Girl's podcast and thoroughly enjoyed the information and the fun way in which you shared it. Your voices are very good for this medium. I was excited to hear more. At first I loved the show but as your bias began showing I tuned out. I want to learn in a way that gives me facts that are facts then leaves me to decide for myself how I feel about them. For example, I do not believe it is okay to block roads for protestors. I consider this completely irresponsible and dangerous behavior and I was unhappy that this was not pointed out. I don't consider my time listening to you wasted. I am glad to know I can spot left- or right- leaning and I will continue to search for true teachers, not those who wish to push their agenda.Read full review »
