Recaps each day of the trial, not a huge amount of speculation and suspense but exactly what you expect from a straightforward trial. Would love to hear them do some interviews after the fact and try to bridge a few of the “gaps” talked about within the episodes. Great team regardless.

They were determined to make a long podcast every day no matter what. 103 episodes! Slow, repetitive and bloated even when played at 1.5x speed. The female ‘journalists’ added little except breathlessly sharing their emotional responses to every development (‘how did ya feel when...’). The only...Read full review »

Listened from the beginning and to every episode over the last 12 months. Thank you so much to the entire team who clearly worked so hard to put this together. It was quite the education on how our justice system works. From the police work, to the forensic work, to the courtroom proceedings. I...Read full review »

Omg - I have just read some of the comments! Bunch of wingers in there! I listened to all of the podcast and found it very informative and interesting. Loved the DNA and physical evidence part. I found that fascinating. The reporting of each and every court day was a great idea, as the case...Read full review »

Tim, please write down what you’re going to say and then read it. We all can’t take the thinking and uh uh uh uh and stuttering, it’s making my ears bleed.

This is the type of so called “journalism” which is why suppression orders exist in Australia. Pathetic tabloid garbage. Couldn’t stomach anymore of the individuals discussions continually mentioning themselves and how the case effects them, or what they where up to, where they were. Vomit...Read full review »

Another piss poor episode. You let the detective off from the question “ what was happening with Telstra “ way too easy.

As a lawyer I am very interested in this case and have followed the trial very closely. I’m very impressed with the knowledge of court reporter Tim. As a lover of words myself I really like the way Tim speaks and his delivery. He comes across as very knowledgeable and his understanding of...Read full review »

Great podcast, I have listened from the start and enjoyed the input of all involved. Thank you for keeping us informed. So relieved that this awful man is now being exposed for who he truly is and hope he stays forever behind bars.

condolences to the victims families. It’s likely he did it but so many policing errors made, not to mention the forensic shambles. That’s without the 25 years of appalling journalism associated here. He’s unlucky to be convicted. Why in the first instance would police not have let the public...Read full review »

Not sure why Alison is so surprised that BRE showed no emotion. He thinks he’s cleverer than anyone else and doesn’t have the capacity to show remorse.

Thank you for your coverage of this very important case. Our thoughts are with all the families of the victims, and for the two survivors. My heart goes out to the Spiers family again today.

A very informative and honest look at the Trial of the Century. All information is clear and up to date for keeping us not in the court room well informed.

Worse than average. Tim’s babbling and the constant sexist remarks about looks and so on are too much. You should be ashamed of yourselves. How dare you judge his wife or comment on her life. She is not on trial. Sorry but I won’t be listening. I’ll wait for casefile to cover it properly. BTW...Read full review »

I’m in NSW and we don’t hear anything about this important case, so this is my sole source of information. Great podcast, enjoyed everyone’s input except for Damien Cripps, for me he ruins each podcast when he’s on. Bumbling, repetitive and long winded, for me it’s a shame as I have had to turn off when he is on.

This is a very interesting and informative podcast of a chilling case. Content and level of detail is excellent and well as the personnel who run and appear on the pod. Tim ,when ask a question, spends twice the time to answer then it should by muddling on which I assume is a time filler to cover lack of content. Less episodes would do or could be covered with a 10 minute update every day but I am confident you have come to the same conclusion.
