“This podcast if for those with a very high tolerance for mispronunciation and pretentiously (and wrongly) over-accented foreign words and names. As well, the sniveling whisper-sigh which seems to be this narrators only trick for conveying intense emotion is like fingernails on a chalkboard. After trying very hard for a long time to keep up with this podcast, I find lately that I have been letting episodes stack up because I usually feel I am in no mood to tolerate the aggravating and cringe-inducing storytelling. A real pity, since Clarkesworld has some of the very best short form sci-fi around. Guess I'll have to try to find time to actually read it. Bummer.”Read full review »

Kate's narration is fine (although sometimes I think her voice is a bit harsh on the "ss". A small tweak in settings?
