One of my favourites! 11 Stars!
I absolutely love this podcast - it’s one of those few that pique my curiosity and that I want to listen to right away when I see a new episode appear in my podcast library! One of the things that sets it apart is Tony Walker’s voice - the texture, cadence, pacing - he is an awesome storyteller! He really sets the mood for these ghostly tales! Another part of this podcast that I love and is unique, is Tony’s discussions of the story and of things happening in his own life. These “ramblings” add such a personal touch, like the podcast version of catching up with a friend over coffee - or around a campfire between tales. 🙂 It’s also cool to hear is voice move from spooky and dark during the story, to friendly and jovial during the chats at the end. If you like awesome spooky stories complete with interesting information about the writers, and a friendly chat, this is one podcast I can recommend completely! I just listened to the most recent story about the haunted storage Unit 409 - a story written by Tony - I loved the story and I love the whole concept! I‘d always been a bit curious about those blocky buildings filled with door after door, seemingly all the same, but concealing the unknown behind them. I’m never going to look at a storage facility in the same way again! 🙃

Tony has GREAT taste in stories! He’s a gifted narrator with erudite insights into the stories and authors, themselves. Thank you for introducing me to some GREAT ‘new’ writers!
