“One of the two best classical podcasts still producing new content (the other being the Gardener Museum concert series). Episodes range from roundtable critics discussions to musician interviews to wide ranging surveys of composers' works. The people behind this podcast know what makes a good performance, and unlike your local classical radio station, they don't play mediocre recordings from second rate musicians. This is a podcast for people who are passionate about music and it rewards close listening. This is not the podcast for the person looking for some pleasing background music. I should also point out that the podcasters do not speak during performances, so you can always use your fast forward button if you don't like to listen to talking.”Read full review »
