This is a very well-made podcast! It is unfortunate that they discontinued it, because it is a good podcast. The bottom line: If you want an entertaining podcast that dives deep into the history of different building related stuff, this is for you. If you want to learn home improvement, then...Read full review »

Is this podcast still being produced?

I love the idea of kit houses or shall I say prefab homes of course not the kind that are slapped together. I think it's really interesting that Japan and Scandanavia are ahead of the prefab home building. It would be interesting if you did a Clearstory how one of these countries processes...Read full review »

Clearstory podcasts present and develop the details I seek to feed my deeper understanding of building materials, techniques and advancements. As a craftsman, I feel “full” after listening to a Clearstory podcast episode or two. And I incorporate things learned here into my projects.

I’ve never reviewed a podcast before but this is worth the stars. You don’t need to be a TOH viewer or even a DIYer to follow. It’s extremely informative and thought provoking. Listen in!

Love TOH and ATOH - unfortunately I can’t watch them at work, so this pod gives me my TOH fix while I’m working.

This podcast is exactly my favorite kind of informational show, filled with thoughtful connections, nifty tidbits, and plenty of humor. In particular, I think fans of 99% Invisible will get a kick out of this one, because it really scratches that itch of “Dang, who knew this ordinary thing was so...Read full review »

Really interesting backstory on house construction and changing design, materials and standards. Glad Kevin pushed back on the “experts” on housing materials regarding our deadly modern houses. I don’t love the petrochemical industry, but they presented no evidence to support their views. Sorry,...Read full review »

Love the show! Hate those danged bells during the intro. They are repetitive, distracting and annoying. There really isn’t any need for background during that bit, but if you MUST have it, choose something less repetitive. It’s the worst!

The level of annoyance of the idiotic bumper music could not be more of a distraction. Bad decision. Just saying.

Kevin, the show is excellent . You have a great production team and I love that you mention them on every episode. Some how they were able to convey the timeless TOH show quality that soothes people like me into an audio version. Well Done! Josh

I think we have plenty of sources for bad news. I love This Old House, I love Ask this old house so I thought I would give this podcast a whirl. But it keeps skewing towards how bad everything in the universe is from water to fire. I get plenty of this on a daily basis not what I’m looking for...Read full review »
