This is a podcast of people talking to hear their own voice without offering any substance or research.

Very happy that I found this podcast, as I personally have dealt with tendinopathy and low back pain as an amateur volleyball player. It’s scary to experience pain, but I feel better equipped now to deal with it mentally.

I started listening to this podcast just before I got into PT school in winter 2018. Sooo many gems. My drive to PT school every week was just over 90 minutes. I’ve listened to just about every episode. It is fantastic!

Great content from clinicians who don’t take themselves too seriously making for a nice easy listening and learning experience.

LOVE the case study, keep these up. Anything you could line up for a chronic HLD case study? I see a ridiculous amount of clients who herniated discs 10-20 years prior and are now following through with rehab.

Great podcast, and I gotta say bringing Mike T on to talk emerging strategies was phenomenal. I have been following Quinn since 2014, and his knowledge is just 🔥🔥🔥. I then met Quinn at a Juggernaut seminar in 2015 and it opened my mind further. I love your work, keep it. Clinical Athlete is...Read full review »

I am a PTA who has returned to PT school. I stumbled upon this podcast and have really enjoyed the idea of evidence based treatment. I credit much of my listening to this to keep myself from getting in a “rut” while confusing to treat patient while I return to school. It has also strengthened my...Read full review »

To keep it short. They’re funny, straight to the point and have various professionals in the field of strength rehab and therapy come in talk and debunk myths with a research based outlook. #Proud6listener :D

Love the content. Have listened to every episode and feel you guys put out great info that. Can be translated directly to practice. Wish more clinicians practiced this way. Couldn’t help but notice you haven’t had any female guests on as of yet, would love to hear from some of the women...Read full review »

My favourite evidence based podcast. The content covered is diverse, while they still keep the discussion entertaining. The breakdown of research is very thorough and helps me learn how to interpret research better.

I’m a PT student and absolutely love all the info discussed in this podcast! Really helpful stuff going on

Clinical athlete is not what I would consider your average podcast when it comes to S&C or rehab. It is much more in depth and scientific in it’s discussion of studies and recommendations most of the time. If it is a little hard to follow to the average lifter consider it as a place to learn...Read full review »

Are these guys bright and entertaining? Yes. Are they young? Yes. It'd be great to see them add someone with 20 years or more of clinical hands-on experience to their podcast. The lack of published scientfiic research on a modality doesn't preclude its efficacy. I think they are using...Read full review »

Listened to a few of these episodes and I started out a little impressed by the high level of skepticism they have with research and fad treatments out there. After listening to episode 6 I am very much unimpressed with how they treated the guest who in my view was doing his best to be respectful...Read full review »

This podcast primarily focuses on challenging various popular and/or fallacious narratives in the field of physical rehab. For the skeptical clinician interested in understanding the evidence for and against such narratives, this podcast is a must.

These guys are the real deal, and a pleasure to listen to. As a physical therapy student I really appreciate the way everything is grounded in the evidence. Please keep these coming!!!

This podcast sheds an awesome light on the current literature regarding relevant topics for clinicians working with an athletic population. I believe this population often falls between the cracks of medical care because no one knows what to do for them. Exercise dosage and athlete education are...Read full review »

I'm a PT who hates dealing with literature, but knows how important it is. It literally can't get any easier than listening to other people break down an article while you drive. Even if you don't treat athletes, the discussion of literature is important for everyone to be part of,...Read full review »

This podcast is absolutely essential for any practicing clinicians to listen to. I really hope you continue the format of analyzing current articles and discussing research on the topic in general. This is an excellent and brutally honest exercise in how the analysis and discussion of evidence should be done. The hosts are passionate and knowledgeable, except for Derek Miles (whom the internet acknowledges as a trash person.) This is a must listen for rehab professionals.
