When I first heard the term Gay Podcast...
...I immediately became terrified and had thoughts of a bunch of charged up queens, all talking over one another, much like that insufferable hen-house, The View. I couldn't have been more wrong. These boys have a chemistry, which I thought could only come from years of On-Air experience together. I now see this can also come from many, many years of friendship. The show is led, quite naturally by, Joey Bucheker. He keeps the show moving quite swiftly; not due to a hurried schedule or bullet points, but by his own propensity to become quickly bored with any topic, right along with the listening audience. He is never caught up in the enchantment of his own voice and thoughts being heard by many people. Nor does he let his lovely co-hosts Marc and Matt or the ever impressive, Wendy, whom I like to call, The Robin Quivers from down under. Both Marc and Matt have very distinct and outspoken personalities, which quite quickly overcome their not incredibly different sounding voices. Both however, are very articulate and connect well with the audience. They bounce they're thoughts and opinions, whether opposing or jointed off of each other and Joey with the rhythm of professional broadcasters. Once again, I would like to stress the lack of yapping, high pitched-flamboyantry and high-octane homosexuality. (Unless of course you mention Michelle "bombshell" McGee or disparage any of Mariah Carey's career choices. ; ) ) This shows members are securely grounded in a gay world and much to say on all topics of the day in a concise and profound manner, that I suggest checking out for your self. Cocktails & Cream Puffs is one hour+ of enjoyable, informative, thought provoking hilarity that I will continue to look forward to and delight in each week! Keep up the good work boys! You too Naughty!Read full review »

Cocktails and Cream Puffs is ALWAYS a good show. They'll make you laugh, gasp, and think about what's going on in their world. Love these folks to pieces. This podcast is one of my go-to shows every time a new show comes out.

Always entertaining and original. Other podcasts should strive for this.

I fel I have to give this podcast a two star review because of the rather unforunate turn it's been taking lately. I think the host needs to stick to doing what he does best and return to comedy, culture, and relevant news. Certain rants (you know which ones I mean, Joe) I believe aren't...Read full review »
