“This has helped me to rekindle my German learning. I was exposed to German as a child but my grandfather wouldn’t teach me and if he did he would get wrapped around the axle on pronunciation.
I understand maybe 40 - 50% I understand the basic idea of the conversation but the tenses and some conjugation I get behind and I hate that. By the way this is proper German, very proper, of a literary nature.
