All-around Useful Info
I'm not really a trainer, yet. In fact, I've only tried agility and flyball one time each, for free, in a friend's backyard. But as a dog walker and dog rescuer and all-round animal person, a lot of what Sarah talks about is useful throughout my life. Even as a social justice activist, I'm finding helpful reminders about consent, communication, respect for difference, and self-care. Highly recommend for anyone working with dogs, humans, and everyone else.Read full review »

I love Sarah’s blunt compassion. From answering questions to sharing real world cases I always finish an episode with a ton of good takeaways. I’m not kidding when I say Sarah’s work has changed my relationship with my dog - for the better.

Sarah is a fabulous resource. We need more trainers who understand both dog sports and dog behavior, especially behavior "problems" motivated by emotional issues. I'm glad that she can reach more people via podcast, and the topics lend themselves well to this format.Read full review »

My weeklyish reminder to think through my training sessions and continue to grow as a trainer while being kind to people and dogs too. I feel so fortunate to have this resource to refer to my dog enthusiast clients to. Hopefully I kind find a way to motivate all of my clients to listen.
