If you prefer an historical angle to true crime accounts and a personable, non-sensationalist delivery, you will probably appreciate this cast. Interesting original research and interviews are a welcome point of difference.

Unknown stories and unique style. I like to be read to from a script, and the interviews interrupt my relaxation.

I like your podcast very much! The Canadian content is so good to have, thank you. Just a suggestion: could you spread out to the rest of Canada and cover cases throughout the country, instead of just Vancouver?

it’s okay, but don’t call the podcast “cold case canada” when every story is from British Columbia.

I’m a huge true crime podcast junkie, and I can say with 100% certainty, this podcast is my absolute favourite! Eve is so lovely, it feels like she’s a friend when I’m listening. She researches so well and has people related to the stories on…please never stop Eve!

Interesting stories and wonderful to hear from family members of the victims. All of the stories are sadly new to me, even though Vancouver is my hometown. These victims deserve to have their stories told.

Cold Case Canada is a superb True Crime Podcast. Each episode is compelling. Eve Lazarus is a wonderful host, who infuses so much humanity into each episode. And the interviews are fascinating. This is now one of my favourite podcasts. Highly recommended!

But please don’t use sound effects again. You don’t seem to realize you made them ever so loud...compared to you talking. It also cheapened the stories imo.

I love true crime and I love paranormal stuff so I was obviously excited about this podcast. I tried listening to the Chilliwack one but her gentle voice paired with the unnecessary extremely loud sound effects just made it unlistenable for me. I’m sure the stories are great, I’m sure she’s...Read full review »

Love this podcast! More Canadian content is always great to hear! Plus I’ve learned about cases that I’ve never heard of before which is surprising considering the amount of true crime I consume. Keep it up!

Interesting cases that aren’t the same old ones that others cover. Professional, with just the pertinent details and no extra chatter. Serious , without the chuckling like some TC narrators do, which is very disrespectful to the victims and families. Thank you for trying to get information for...Read full review »

Another fine podcast from Ms Lazarus. Always concise, well paced, nuanced, and with a sure touch for the context of the events described and their human background. Always engaging. No melodrama.

That overused word interesting works here. Eve Lazarus does it again. Will always tune in to her podcast and read her books. Keep them coming.

I just finished reading the book that this podcast is based on, and it’s really great to hear these cases talked about: not only are they researched in-depth, but a different angle is brought in, going beyond just the facts and including historical context and interviews, that points out just how...Read full review »
