“I really tried to like this podcast - I used to love the old "Cold Case Files" and was excited about the reboot. The podcast frustrates me to no end though. They have such great sound clips with people involved with the case but the host brings absolutely nothing to the table. Her opinions seem generally uninformed and juvenile. For instance, in the latest episode, she says "It doesn't seem appropriate to investigate someone at a funeral". It's common practice, lady. Killers usually attend the funerals of their victims. Then she'll say something about a suspect like "I think I would be their friend". I don't care if you'd be their friend. Everything she says at this point is extremely grating and seems really juvenile. I don't know how being a social worker is related to being a cold case file detective. Bring someone on with some actual knowledge or someone who is capable of doing their research.”Read full review »
