“What an absolutely heartbreaking story. Dave Cawley and his team did a stellar job, outlining every detail of the disappearance of Susan Powell, and the subsequent suicide of her husband. If it was a TV show, you’d say it was too far fetched. To think poor Susan had to live amongst that, the homicidal husband, the disgusting worm of a father in law, it defies belief.
The saddest part was the realisation that she knew what was coming, telling friends to look at Josh if anything happened to her, documenting assets and leaving notes at work where he couldn’t access them. How long was she looking over her shoulder? What must life have been like for her?
Rest In Peace Susan. I for one will be teaching my children to trust their instincts, and to get out if they ever feel in danger.”
