“I’ve struggled with depression for a long time. It was better for a couple years but had gotten worse again. I was looking for an uplifting podcast to help ease my suicidal thoughts and self harming. These thoughts are not on the surface. They are deep in me. I recently got a calling teaching 15 year olds on Sunday school and the anxiety of not knowing enough has tormented me. My mother in law mentioned this podcast. I thought it would help only with my lesson but it has done so much more for me. I love your vulnerability. For someone like me who needs a friend but doesn’t know how to communicate it, when you speak of your struggles and what you’ve learned to overcome those hardships with the help of Christ, it gives me hope. I don’t feel so alone or lost. I love that you are not scripted and I love your tangents. Keep going girl, you’ve helped me be a better mother to my girl through your words and have helped me turn to Christ when I’m down.”
