there's quality in them there quantity
these guys definitely pump out tons of podcasts, and most of them are pretty good. this podcast has developed an incredibly strong online community... and that may turn off some listeners. allow me to explain: the episodes tend to have quite a bit of 'inside' talk, where the guys talk about themselves and their side projects a whole lot- if you want straight up comic book talk, you will have to do quite a bit of fast forwarding and some episodes can be skipped. when the guys talk comics, it's really a nice podcast. these guys and their listeners are friends first and comics podcasters second and (while i'm not in the loop) i really dig that they are unapologetic about that fact. i do skip the 'insider' talk bits... but if they cut it out the podcast would definitely lose some of its charm. long story short, it's a group of old buddies geeking out and having fun and letting the internet be a fly on their wall. quintessential podcasting.Read full review »

Generally entertaining and insightful regarding current books and trends. Unfortunately, an astounding lack of knowledge concerning earlier stories and history leads to far too many wrong-headed assumptions and mind-numbingly incorrect statements.
