“Having followed them both on Twitter, I know Desmond and Andray are very engaged and knowledgable guys. That's why I've been surprised and disappointed through the first bunch of episodes, because their schtick appears to be playing naïve in order to better relate to their audience (who they must think are also politically unsophisticated and naîve).
