“If you listen to the show, you get the imperssion the hosts don't know much about the system. They really come across as having been let down by civics education. But I get the feeling they do know more than that. Domise ran for city council in Toronto, and they both seem like smart guys. I get the feeling that they're talking to their audiences and trying not to talk down to them. Perhaps a Q&A format with the listeners might have been better. The chemistry between the hosts is good and I'm happy my weekly Canadaland Loonie is helping to support it. I just think it's still got a ways to go.”Read full review »

“This podcast sounds like a pair of second year undergrads who think they know everything. It lacks any hint of depth. I like the Canadaland podcast but this one drives me crazy. I know it’s hard to launch a show but Commons continues to be worse and worse. I am not a fan.”
