Ignore the haters. Show gets better and better.
Desmond, Andray and a fine group of guest hosts, along with producer Kevin Sexton, have made this into an excellent, informative, show that asks some tough questions and covers subjects mainstream news media is not looking at, or approaches topics in a different way from the mainstream. Check out the live show from uOttawa, missing & Murdered Aboriginal women, marijuana legalization, Black Lives Matter, and interview with a newly elected MP shows to get a real sense of how great this show can be. The team does a fantastic job of bringing in voices you won't hear on CBC or in newspapers in Canada. The "how to sponsor refugees" and "election door-knocking" episodes are excellent reportage that play with the COMMONS format.Read full review »
