“Andray and Desmond are funny and well-informed on political issues. Don't listen to reviewers complaining about the show being "too funny" or "Politics 101". The show's ethic is unabashedly one of inclusion, and it seeks to unpretentiously welcome everyone to the table for discussion. There's something here for anyone who cares about Canadian politics.
My favourite part of the show is the subject-matter experts Commons brings in every week come in and open up that week's topic, sharing insight won in the field. It's cool, because you hear straight-talk from professors, pollsters, columnists, fundraisers, and more.
The show also has a weird knack for anticipating the questions I'm curious about i.e. before the polling episode, I'd always wondered if pollsters reached ppl with cell phones or just land-lines.
