Fun, bantery (too bantery?), layman-level science show.
Yess here it comes, the uptight curmudgeonly review. This podcast has great substance at the core. I always get a great takeaway botanical fact or 5 to share from each eps. I believe it would be better if they made it expletive free. The frequent random swears seem out of place with the genial tone of the show, which would otherwise be a perfect show for family listening. IMO the show would also benefit from a little less jokey asides. Have the confidence that your topic is interesting — you don’t have to jazz it up with either curse words or constant little asides. I turned off the last episode after 20 minutes when the dick jokes started. Appreciate the good audio production.

As a working forest ecology person, I back this immensely! Loved the first episode on doug-fir! Looking forward to lots more episodes. But I have to personally request a Whitebark pine episode!!! Grizzly bears’ favourite tree needs some love these days!
