“This podcast is so fun to listen to! As a biologist who also knows very little about specific tree species, I appreciate the back-and-forth between Casey, an enthusiastic dendrologist and Alex, his inquisitive friend with an average knowledge of trees. Casey’s passion is infectious - you can hear how much he loves the subject matter when he talks - and Alex asks phenomenal questions, clarifies the jargon, and invents totally awesome games to play at the end of the episodes. Each conversation feels very organic. They drift off topic, share stories, and look up information they don’t know, so it feels less like you’re listening to a seminar and more like you’re just hanging out with friends and talking about trees. (I even listen to this podcast at regular speed. I know you don’t know me, but I swear, that says a lot.) I learn, I laugh, and I look at all the trees in my life with greater interest and respect these days.”
